When we scroll through various social media platforms, watch or listen the news reports, read the newspaper or observe in our schools and communities, we will see that Jamaica land we love needs healing. This land of diverse culture, captivating music, scrumptious food and great accomplishments in sports is contending with many giants. These giants of poor parenting, gruesome criminal activities, numerous mental health disorder, unemployment or lack of economic security amongst others have been plaguing our homes, schools, churches and communities for years. The connections between mental health and criminal activities cannot be separated and may plague us for eternity if the roots are not mended and healed.
Our moral standard and foundation are deteriorating daily leaving lives, homes, schools and communities broken. This erosion of our moral foundation has contributed immeasurably to the fruits of crime and violence, unemployment and deteriorated mental health.
The seed was planted, roots were developed, the tree is now grown and the fruits are now being reaped. If we choose to eliminate the fruits or cut the tree, it will only grow and spread wider. To prevent any further erosion in our moral principles and values, the tree must not only be cut but the root must be uprooted and destroyed. It will require resocialization, training and teaching, prayer, healing and willingness to change our strategies.
To motivate the process of healing and restoration, Restoring the Broken Ministries Limited was born to provide positive teaching/training, mentorship, parenting support and training, mental health awareness and training as well as counselling and psychotherapy to mitigate the moral decay. We commit our time, resources and expertise to help heal Jamaica land we love. We dedicate to implement strategic planning of our programmes to transform and restore our morals, values, love for each other and to restore God as our leader. We invest in restoring the broken areas of this society and also broken individuals in our homes, schools and communities to Total Recovery.
